Marina is a true citizen of the world. Raised in New York and Geneva by Italian parents, she has traveled extensively and speaks four languages fluently. After graduating from Syracuse University, Marina started her public relations career with Donna Karan as Director of International Public Relations in Milan, Italy. That experience led her back to New York, where she became Director of Communications for Hermes USA. She then established her own public relations firm, 24/7 Communications, and traveled the world working with some of the most exclusive fashion brands. Her clients included Rene Caovilla, Alessandro dell'Acqua, Loro Piana, and Brioni. Never satisfied with the status quo, Marina also put her talents to work in an executive role at a Fortune 100 Financial Services company. But when the opportunity to start Marina Luri Events came about, she jumped at the chance and has never looked back.
